Welcome

The 2015 annual Asian Real Estate Society (AsRES) conference was held in Washington DC on July 6-9, 2015. The conference is an unprecedented collaboration of American Real Estate and Urban Economics Association (AREUEA), the Global Chinese Real Estate Congress (GCREC), and the Asian Real Estate Society (AsRES) with the International Real Estate Society (IRES). Over 450 authors from across the globe are participating in the conference with 340 papers being presented over the course of the three-day conference.

The conference provided an outstanding opportunity for academics, practitioners, and policymakers to present, learn, and discuss the latest research findings in the areas of urban economics, housing finance, securitization, commercial real estate, and development and investment.

Conference Program

July 6, 2015: Welcome Reception
July 7, 2015: Parallel Sessions; Grand Reception
July 8, 2015: Plenary and Parallel Sessions; Gala Dinner
July 9, 2015: Parallel Sessions; Farewell Dinner

The sessions on day one are all in English. The sessions on day two are in both English and Chinese. The sessions on day three are mainly in Chinese, with a few sessions in English.

 

Conference Registration

Attendees can choose to register for a two day pass (July 7-8, mostly English sessions) or a three day pass (July 7~9, full summit). Please register by category and conference schedules. 

The registration fees are as follows:

3 day ticket includes July 7th evening reception. 2 day ticket includes July 6th evening reception. Student ticket buyers will need to submit a valid student ID card to gcrec.conference@gssinst.org.

The 20th Annual Asian Real Estate Society (AsRES) Meeting was held in Washington, D.C. on 6-9 of July 2015. The conference was in conjunction with the Global Chinese Real Estate Congress (GCREC), the American Real Estate and Urban Economics Association (AREUEA), and the International Real Estate Society (IRES).
